I have Rogan's Timeless Flight Revisited and the 2 Requiem volumes that have come out since.
Is there anything in the original Timeless Flight book that is not in Timeless Flight Revisited?

    The Clarkophile

Blog on the upcoming Record Store Day release. Very interesting tale on the mystery of the Chip Douglas tape.

Would it be safe to assume that the 3 cuts from the tape plus the Masekela version of Yesterday Am I Right will be included as bonus tracks on the forthcoming Sings For You release?

    There's been some misunderstanding
And I'd like to make it right.

Indigo will correct me if I’m wrong, but I think she was just saying that what is comings is not simply a rerelease of the track as it appeared on Byrd Parts 2 but it is the original solo demo onto which Chip would later overdub the bass and backing vocal.

I love that you have the (almost) same avatar. It's like Gene is talking to himself, completing himself, liking himself and obsessing about himself !
Thanks for all the info, Gene(s) !

    "Gene" is short for "Genius"

That is the firm rumour alright. The big question (jumping the gun here) is what might be added to it...

Based on the clues I've read in the last 6 months, I'd say we'll be getting it. But the RSD vinyl is a cool surprise as well. I don't buy vinyl anymore, so I'm sure hoping all of this comes out digitally on CD or download. And I believe there will also be another release of White Light coming out soon.

Indeed, Intervention Records are planning to release White Light and it’s been cut by Kevin Gray ... see this thread

They used to be my favorite web shop for CDs and vinyls. It changed a year or so ago; I suspect they lost an employee that did most of the job and held things together.

Wow! I didn't think the Rose Garden acetate still existed! I had expected that the previously unissued material from the Record Store Day release would be the bonus tracks on Sings For You.

Hopefully they will see the light of day on a CD release later in the year.

    This show is really good:

"Spanish Guitar," "Gypsy Rider," "Fair and Tender Ladies"...

Anyone here ever read Roddy Doyle's novel The Commitments? The ending is quite different from the film and of particular interest to Gene Clark fans.

It's the same as the mono LP version, no?
