I just make a bunch of crap up. It seems to be right more often than it's wrong.

You know that wasn't directed at you. That's obvious.

It's very good - a definite improvement over the prior BD. I actually thought the old one was pretty decent, but the new one's a clear step up in quality...

Can you also hear a difference with the lossless now ? BTW, I am so envious of you for the next 10 days.

I think the lossless track is a bit stronger than the old lossy one, but I don't think it's as obvious a difference as with the visuals...

The wait was so worth it. Visually, the colors are beautiful , and there is more detail than ever before. The lossless audio is crisp, and clear. Music sounds so much better than previous releases.

It really is a beautiful film. And this was back in the 1980s, when the film needed a lot of light to get an exposure. DP Michael Ballhaus was (and is) a really brilliant cinematographer.

I picked up a copy at Best Buy earlier this evening(Saturday). Went looking for something else, and saw the box. Logged into blueray.com and when I saw the numbers, grabbed it. I'm sure even on my 32" 720P it will be an improvement over what I previously own. Might call my friend and do a screening on his set up. Should be a good viewing/listening.

I have a 4K TV and we love it. In some cases it looks like you are looking out a window. You'll love it. :)

What are talking about? A lot of folks here are on "the inside" as you say, they just don't feel the need to Bandish it around.
There are movie producers in this forum, professional musicians as well.............Goodnight

    Hi,

    NO........

They are talking about the "mastered in 4K" 1080P (2K) Blu Ray version of Goodfellas.

It has NOT been released in UHD (True 4K) as yet.

Geezus I wish I had seen that spelling error before I copied and pasted that into my browser because blueray.com led to www.bluecams.com NSFW!!! but luckily I have understanding bosses! Seriously thought don't click on that site if you are at work and if you're at home, go into incognito mode unless your single or your wife/gf won't care. :)
