I thought the one they did at Autzen was pretty good, though Garcia did it better with his band.

Pretty sure this isn't the first year for Made in Mexico discs, maybe even the third year.

Ok, received and listened to entire show - yeah, hey man, I don't need no marijuana, and like, I don't need no acid man, cause I'm hooked on downers. Sorry, but immediately after I had to put on Dave's Pick 6 to get that greasy energy back.
I like '76 Dead, but this show really lacks, um, everything exciting IMO.

No. 111 arrived in BOA. Doesn't appear to be a skip in Let It Grow either. :edthumbs: Looking forward to giving this a listen

Now listening to #1006. Lowest number I’ve had yet.

What is the more precise timing of the Let It Grow skip on Disc 3? I don’t notice any problem on first playback, but want to make absolutely sure I don’t have a defective disc.

Ditto, my EAC misbehaved ripping it but on playback the disc itself sounded fine.

I think at 1:40. When I listened on one of my home CD or DVD players (Oppo or Yamaha, forget which) there was no skipping. However, I heard something that almost sounded like surface noise at that point.

Today I listened to it in my car and there was a several second stutter at that point. It then went on OK.

No issue ripping it to iTunes but haven't listened to it there yet.

So it's not that bad but there's some minor defect, on mine anyway. Not sure if I'll bother contacting them.

    Hi there, guys.

Does anyone else having issues with disc three on Dave 28 skipping?
There seems to be problems with playing the first part of "Let it Grow"... What do I do now? Contact Dead-net or other people?

Yup, that is the feeling I'm getting. Going to try it on another player when this damned hangover goes away. Perhaps my old Marantz is a tad too sensitive.

    Thanks, man,

Too much hassle? Are they difficult to talk to? And who would you recommend that I email, BTW?

My disc 3 ripped perfectly on dbpoweramp but when I play my cd in my CD player it won’t get past 1:40 on Let it Grow

I emailed them a few days ago and they just sent me an online form to fill out and return. Seems pretty painless...

Ugh, with the Canada Post strike delay, I have still yet to receive the last pick, though the LST blu ray arrived just fine and it shipped 2 weeks later. I emailed rhino, but I'm really hoping it still shows up. Do they have extra #'d copies for MIA postings?

Just getting around to vol 28 -- going straight to disc 3 to see if I have a bad one or not.

So far so good, I'm through the first few minutes of Let It Grow with no issues. I don't agree with tracking "drums" out in the middle of Let It Grow. As far as I'm concerned, in this context the drum solo is part of Let It Grow. I guess Billy and Mickey get a bit of royalty however, so with that in mind, all good!

Another fine sounding show. I don't spin much '76 Dead for some reason, but this one is sounding real nice.

The return after drums to Let it Grow was pretty weak I have to say

The weirdly timed return after Let it Grow (whenever Weir felt like it, apparently) is in all versions that month.
