As much as I enjoy the 31 August ‘74 show, I do think that the bonus disc material is superior. Dunno if it’s worth USD$350 though. How much is that per minute?

Those aren't two mutually exclusive things. Especially with a dwindling fan base that isn't going to go rabid over every single release.

I've forgotten if this is also where Charlie Miller's work gets mentioned, but the past 4 days has been insane! It's been so much I'm not even sure if it's 3 or 4 dozen 24/96 shows and of course those and more in 16/44. The bulk is from '92, 87-88, some '83 and some other later years, but there's also Dick's 3 complete (5-22-77, a victim of early high CD prices meant they didn't think people would pay for a 3 CD set so it was abbreviated) and today 9-20-70. I've never seen anything like this. Even for those who hate the later stuff fixing the abbreviated 5-22 or the acoustic from 9-20-70 alone is a great contribution.

Yes, every fan of Alpine Valley '89 should grab the "new" ultramatrix that CM circulated a while ago. Stellar!

I would sell mine for $723 :nyah:
I can't believe that some releases I hardly ever play are sold at such insane prices. I mean, more than $400 for a Dave's Picks while the porch crusher is listed for $1200.

The 5-22-77 not only adds the missing songs but has "Dancin' In The Streets" and "Eyes Of The World" without the editing done for the CD.

Princeton area: PREX just acquired an impressive GD collection, including a lot of Dave's w/bonus discs...

No mail order. If you're in the area and you have a wish list, this might be for you.

I just called PREX and the 30 Trips box is sold. They do have the Fillmore '69 Complete Recordings but it's $499.99 and, well, I just can't throw down that amount right now.

This set needs to be reissued. It is absurd that they don't do it.

    Just had a shipping notice!

Looks like it may make it to the UK not long after release day. Usually takes 2 weeks exactly.

Hey all, just curious about something as a new member/poster; I wrote and tried to post two comments/questions yesterday but I don't see them here. Is that because we don't see our own posts or were they flagged and not posted for some reason? Just looking for some clarification. Thanks!

It was on this thread. I posted twice yesterday, or tried to anyway, inquiring about getting a copy of DaP 25 if someone had an extra. And I'm wondering if it wasn't approved by the moderator bc of that reason? Are we not allowed to post requests like that? I'm not sure exactly. Also can we email or get in touch with individual members here? I clicked on someone's profile but did not see a way to contact them off-board.

    Thanks!

Welcome aboard. Yes I think for any new member the first, I can't remember, 15-20 posts maybe, get checked by moderators first before showing up so there is maybe a 20-30 minute delay. Just power through it and join the fun asap.

Click on their avatar and hit "Start a Conversation" to start a private message. If you're looking for a copy, you may want to post in the classifieds section. I know some of our regular posters order more than 1 subscription to be generous, alsoanti-eBay/flipper, and provide to other members. Welcome aboard - I'm a relative newby myself (about 6 months here), you won't find a more welcoming group of Deadheads.
