Great integrated amp for around $500.00?

    I don't remember what model they are as the label fell off years ago. Small, 2 way, speaker grill does not come off, "wood" speakers and a port at the back.

    Edit! Found an old post of mine. I believe they are Paradigm Micro speakers.

    But further into this thread, I wrote that I swapped out the NAD for a Denon receiver and everything sounds good. Including my tiny Paradigm speakers.

    It's not the speakers, it was the amp.
    I've never heard a NAD amp or receiver sound so mediocre. I've not heard everything that NAD did, of course. :) I suspect that some how I have a defective receiver.

    I must admit that I had a hard time endorsing the early 90s NAD Dolby Pro-logic gear and CD players.

    AMC is definitely worth checking out esp. if you like either NAD or tubes. Where else do you get 80 Tube watts for under 2 grand ?
