40 years old! I bet this one was a hard one for her- she seems to relish her "girliness." For some unknown reason, this post makes me wonder how old Kate Bush is now...

She grew up ten minutes from me. An ex girlfriend went to High School with her. (yes...I dated younger women )
I believe her father is a Preacher or some type of clergyman. Lot's of God references in her songs possibly has something to do with that.
I have seen her once; good show with Alanis

I saw Tori's birthday show last night at Garden State Arts... I mean PNC Bank Arts Center, and she is better than ever. I've seen her about a dozen times over the years, and she never fails to give me the chills. The show was A+. Her current bass, drums, and piano set-up is very effective.

Ben Folds came out and sang "Birthday" to her, BTW.
