For all the Hall & Oates tune that have showed up here: Hall & Oates is a duo. Both of them sing lead...regularly...on the albums. Hall's voice carries most of the hits, of course, but both have always done the job.

Good point. Any possibly why no one has mentioned "Bridge Over Troubled Water."

Walter Orange has sung lead often in the Commodores.

"A Legal Matter" went top 40 (#32) in the U.K.

FWIW, the studio "I Know What I Like" has Phil on harmony vocals (maybe unison in some parts, haven't heard it in a while) with Peter through almost all of it.

I was just quoting a lyric. Was actually going to post that song, until I saw your post.

As an aside, I've never heard Grand Funk Railroad before, and now know that I haven't missed out on anything.

Back on topic, how about Buttered Popcorn by The Supremes? Think it's the only single in their run with Diana that doesn't have her on lead vocal.

I just posted this on a different thread, but there were three songs that were miscredited, one accidentally, two deliberately.

"He's A Rebel" and "He's Sure The Boy I Love" featured Darlene Love and the Blossoms, not The Crystals

And "All American Boy" was billed as Bill Parsons rather than Bobby Bare.

My favorite Eagles song, with Timothy B. Schmit on lead vocal.
