Hockey pucks under turntable: worth trying!

    I'll probably order the ones from Amazon. Locally sourced San Jose Sharks pucks would probably work extremely well except when it actually mattered.

  6. Maybe my choice of term was misplaced. When I first posted a picture of my setup, the first reaction from the peanut gallery was that I should get my speakers off the floor ASAP, even if by only 1/2" or so.

    When I put the hockey pucks in place, I didn't place them at the four corners of the speaker base. Uneven flooring made that impossible, anyway. They're positioned to eliminate any wobble. Unless you give them a good shove, those speakers aren't going anywhere. :)
