Hooking DAP to Component System?

    I don't know how much I would want to do this to begin with, but has anyone tried to connect a DAP to a component system? Apparently there is a cable that will go from the headphone out to the amps.

    I connect my Fiio X5iii to a JVC receiver with a 6ft. FosPower audio cable. 3.5mm stereo plug to 2 RCA male phono plugs. It is hooked into the CD-R input. This is the only way I use my Fiio.

    I connect my el-cheapo FIIO X1 to various stereo systems. The FIIO DAPs have lime out mode.
