In particular, "NOW WATCH: Animated map shows what the US would look like if all the Earth's ice melted" which I want to show to a science class, from
This shocking elevation map shows just how screwed New Orleans will be
I saved the web page and I guess can run it from that, but that seems a bit crude. And connectivity is spotty, so I don't want to count on it running from the web page.

Thanks for the reminder-I had used those before until eventually they broke, so now using "Easy YouTube Video Downloader Express" (Which doesn't work with the page I cited). Do those go from the page? OR you go to their page and enter a URL?

Video DownloadHelper is a browser extension, so once it's installed you just click on its toolbar icon while you're on the page you're trying to download the video from, and pick the desired resolution (assuming more than one resolution is available).

With KeepVid, you go to their page and enter a URL.

Internet Download Manager is great and simple to use.
