Not a used bin..but an Estate Sale this morning. 21 LP's and this Sony Turntable:

The LP's were Leadbelly on Red Vinyl, Springsteen's 'Badlands', Doors 'Soft Parade' and 18 other LP's. Soon as the double A batteries recharge I will take some pics. Total purchase price $50. Only thing I didn't get with the turntable was the cover. So I think it will be ebay to see if I can find the cover.

Not holding my breath if it's the specifically sought after Japan Harvest, as I'm guessing the black triangle is the one folks are after. Aside from that, it's nice to have due to it's simple packaging.

Similar to me, but I'm pretty much sticking with the Herb Alpert, Sergio Mendes & Baja Marimba band titles.

The LP? If so, sweet. Wrecks the DDD CD by a nautical mile.

Not sure how I didn't already own a copy of it, but I found a copy of CSNY 4 Way Street for $4 yesterday. Sleeves and jacket are kind of busted, but the discs are in great shape.

On a record crawl sponsored by an internet radio station here in Chicago this past Sunday, I scored a Jolly What! The Beatles & Frank Ifield On Stage, for $25 (price marked minus a discount for the record crawl). Really good shape. A record I have not owned in my pretty decent Beatle collection. On the same crawl, I bought a still-sealed Paul Revere and the Raiders mono LP, unaware the Mr. Revere had passed the day before.

Read about Sticky Fingers "SO" Sonic Recorders Pressing and how it beats out the Monarch release. Just happened to stop by my local and found this EX- for $8.99, and it does beat out the Monarch. I didn't even know this existed. Has "Sonic" etched in the deadwax.

    Nice find!

I have yet to see a copy of that where the jacket isn't rubbed off to death and busted on the top and bottom.

Which one did you pull? A 75 Rockefeller or 1841 Broadway?

    Various - 17 Frontline Classics
    ABBA - Arrival (remaster)
Rick Derringer - Guitars & Women

A lone vinyl purchase - the 12" single of Chic's "Le Freak"

Everything was $1 or less except for the ABBA and Derringer, which I ended up using $10.50 in store credit to get the pair. The Marillion I bought from Amazon third party for 83 cents (before s&h).

How did you get such a wonderful shot of the CD? What camera are you using? I have to get me one of those?

It was at a used music store about 20 miles south of Cleveland. Surprised I left with anything as I was severely irritated on how anything on LP and everything with the word "remastered" on it was severely overpriced while totally ignoring any other goodies. Get this - they wanted $55 for the 2 CD Smile Sessions and $45 for a Non-Porky Zeppelin Zoso 75 Rock. Clearly the work of MBA procedure, no doubt.

But, the silver lining is that it appears to be employed by solely gamers and frequented by gamers. When it comes to music, those guys couldn't find their own butt if it had a bell on it due to visual over-stimulation from dizzying 360 games and Nikki Sixx-style overdoses on Red Bull. I plan on doing more of relieving them of any better profits on Thursday. There's a Zombies O&O Big Beat I got my eye on and I'm sure it'll still be there, as those vidiots probably think it's an old Halloween sound effects album.

The picture is from an LG F6 Optimus phone, carried by T-Mobile. The reception is spectacular and the pictures are good - only drawback is the internal space is fairly limited, which is fine by me since I only use it for calls and the occasional picture that immediately goes to the Micro SD. If you read any reviews on the unit, it's a wash due to nothing but people crying in their soup about "not enough space for more apps". But, seriously - for phone and picture purposes, it's fantastic.

Thanks for replying to my post. I'm very pleased with the purchase. It sounds fantastic.
