I am Seeking Advice On How to Encourage Reissues

Greetings. I am an LP collector. I am not a musician, not an engineer, not a label hand. I mention this distinction because I would like some advice on how to proceed in approaching some folks who are musicians, engineers and label hands.

I would like to encourage Red House records to reissue Greg Brown's 1990s albums on LP. Obviously, part of my reasoning is to have them on my favorite format, but more than that I believe that these incredible albums have been overlooked and are simply worthy of reissue.

I have sent an email to the President of the label stating that I would be willing to help crowdfund capital to aid in the process.

My question to the forum: is this a worthwhile endeavor? What obstacles might I anticipate? What recommendations can you make so that my efforts are directed in the most productive direction?
