That's a pretty good song, and I can hear the beat of Proud to Fall by Ian McCulloch in there too (maybe slightly quicker), so the Echo and the Bunnymen comparison is on the money ...

Thanks for this. I had never heard of the Honeycutters but I just love Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings. I have been playing through the sound samples of the four Honeycutters albums. This is really good stuff and will get all four of these discs. I am one of those types who is obsessed with older music and think 99.9% of the new stuff I hear is crap. This is a really wonderful new music discovery for me.
