i have been listening to this one all weekend...

can't get enough of it; the set really has made an impression on me. the title track is great, and the ones that follow are terrific, too...

i followed the players, and date, which led me to this:

i enjoy this one, too, but need to listen a bit more before further comment as I have only listened once...

both of these are from the recent haul of dr j's collection, and i am stoked that there seem to be a few more titles by both of these artists in that set of discs for me to explore and enjoy...

Yes thanks, a beautiful album and the sound quality is excellent. I'm on the look out for "Eastern Lights".

Anthony "Tony" Williams - Life Time. Giving my TT a break, and checking out this secondhand RVG CD that came through work recently. Enjoying it so far! I had never heard of him before, but seeing Herbie Hancock, Sam Rivers and Bobby Hutcherson included in the line-up peaked my interest.

Officially a Modest Jazz Trio date, but actually one of Jim Hall's early albums, all but forgotten. Very nice too.

This LP has been sitting around for a few years without being played so I gave it a spin. Nice quintet with Jim Hall on guitar.

Haven't heard that one, but I like the cover art homage to Andy Warhol's work for the 1956 album KENNY BURRELL (Blue Note BLP 1543):

I never knew about this. Love the cover, too. There's another cover. Same tracks, mastering?
