Jean-Christian MICHEL

Jean-Christian MICHEL - Quattuor Avec Orgue. He recorded 4 albums for the French Riviera label in the late sixties. Jazz, Clarinet with Cathedral Organ, String Bass and Drums. His first album, Requiem, was particularly superb, with a brilliant version of Johanne Sebastian Bach's Air On The G String, andsome original pieces. His follow up album, Crucifixus also had several excellent tracks. The whole works would fit easily onto a double CD, and would sell well in Europe.

Riviera were distributed by CPF Barclay last time I saw anything about them.
