Jimi Hendrix cowboy pics

The US version of Smash Hits had a large poster included, with The Experience on horseback. Later the same pic was used for an alternate cover of the US edition of said LP. My question to anyone who owns an original copy of the poster is: Did it include pictures on the back? The thing is, I distinctly remember pics of the group engaged in a fake gun battle, pretending to get shot, and playing dead on the ground. I only saw the album once, in an antique bookstore that also sold vinyl.

 

Not sure I fully understand your question, but I have the poster, and it came in Smash Hits. There is nothing on the back side of the poster. The album cover also has some cowboy pics on the reverse cover.

 

I could've sworn we weren't allowed to post Hendrix pictures anymore ?

Yep, I have one, it sounds good but my High Fidelity ears are a bit knackered.

 

Jamie "Hendrix" is very un-Jimi; capitalist, hypocrite, into organized religion. Everything EH do is tainted by the woman. Which is a shame, as John McDermott and Kramer do good work.

 

Will never put another penny in her pocket.

 

I agree with everything except Kramer he lost his mojo quite some time ago & has also been complicit in some dodgy releases he wouldn't have gone near as a younger man.
