The article does NOT mention his 1975 John Fogerty solo album. So I'm not sure if that will be included in this reissue program. That album came out on Asylum in the USA, but on Fantasy in Europe, so I'm not sure if John owns the rights to it. Of course, that would be the one that I would be most interested in.

Also, the majority of the non-LP 45's from solo John (like You Don't Owe Me and Comin' Down The Road) in the early/mid-1970s were on Fantasy, so I again doubt that those bunch of songs will turn up as bonus tracks.

I am a big fan of the Blue Ridge Rangers album. I think there is only one cd mastering assuming the mini sleeve from Japan (which I foolishly did not buy and is now oop) is the same as the USA cd. No high resolution file, sacd or new vinyl released to my knowledge (hope I am wrong).
Just read the link on Fogerty signing a new deal and no doubt he will be in court before I finish this post. I take it that Blue Ridge Rangers and John Fogerty albums may still be owned by other folk.

Some plain stuff (not bad, and mostly pleasurable to listen to) and some good stuff.
I love the Eye Of The Zombie title track. To me it is actually the most ccr like track of his solo carreer. Blue Moon Swamp is ofcourse a delightful album.
I find his drumming to be a bit stiff and the albums he drums on suffers a bit from it.

That's certainly understandable, but how foolish to destroy the master tapes

Artists do stupid things. Emotion is part of the "art". This is why many times they hurt themselves on the "business" side of things.
You don't throw anything out, just put it away. Everything you create is part of the "journey".

I love Fogerty, both CCR (heck, Golliwogs even) and solo... but one problem I have with some of his studio work is when he plays all/majority of instruments himself... he knows where every beat/stroke falls so when he's overdubbing other instruments, there's no push-pull or tension... everything falls in unison too perfectly... some great songwriting never breathes performance-wise for me...

That is why Centerfield fails. Would've made a great CCR record.

The KLIZ website is reporting that John has signed with BMG and is working on a new album for 2018. There will be catalog reissues which includes a 20th Anniversary Edition of Blue Moon Swamp on November 17th with a different cover shot than the original. The article did not say if there were any additional songs or not.

Also remember: In 2004, a remastered version of Blue Moon Swamp (originally released in 1997) was released with two bonus tracks: "Just Pickin" and "Endless Sleep".

'Just Pickin' and Endless Sleep' were initially part of John's single from BMS 'walkin' in a hurricane' from 97'.

cosmicdancer Doin' it to you in 3D! So Groovy that I dig me.

I won't go album by album, but for me, John has only made one great classic album in his solo career and that is Blue Moon Swamp. I think it's a perfect mix of classic Fogerty meets the older and wiser Fogerty. His other albums have been good with a few exceptions (I wasn't into Eye of the Zombie and Deja Vu), but not great.

I think that tendency began to creep in around Pendulum... "(Wish I Could) Hideaway", "It's Just a Thought"...

Could be, but I think John was trying to tweak CCR's sound a bit on that album. So in my opinion, John did that purposefully, and still maintained his "classic" voice" in all its strength.
