Just bought Sumiko Pro-Ject RM-4

It's my first"real" turntable.

I have it hooked to a Sumiko Pro-Ject Phono Box into my HK 2.0 preamp, then HK 2.1 amp into Carver 5.2 speakers.

Sounds pretty good, but I think my SACD player beats it so far.

I originaly got a Grado Prestige Gold mounted on it but the cartridge was defective. Right now I have the Red on until the Gold replacement comes.

Good move, Project make good turntables. (Sumiko is merely the USA distributor - why they feel the need to add their name to products is betwen them and their psychiatrist).

I have a Project RPM-9 here to play with for a few days. It's just been reviewed by one of my writers (review will appear online next month) and I've been dying to get my hands on it!
