Hello everybody, I was gifted a JVC QL A2 turntable and while giving it a look over, found that the two fuses were blown. After replacing them the table worked a couple of times and when the arm was returning, it when dead and the fuses were blown again. Any thing I should be looking at in particular? I thought maybe deoxit on the motor bearing? Thanks!

Try giving the platter a shove when starting up, the old motor may be struggling to start the platter turning thus pulling too many amps causing the fuses to blow. You could also try a slo blow fuse of similar rating.
