Someone made an inquiry about Klaatu on the last board. Looks like the remastered Klaatu is in progress! Check out: http://bullseyecanada.com/ A quote from the site: "Klaatu's 3:47 EST album was remastered this week at PRISMA Studio in Toronto. Former members Terry Draper and John Woloschuk supervised the proceedings. The 25th Anniversary re-issue of this seminal work hits the streets through KOCH International October 23rd." Apparently (learned through my local sources here) all the Klaatu albums will be remastered and released eventually. There will be another disc of rarities. No box set info is available so there may not be one. Same people / studio remastered Goddo. You've heard of Goddo, haven't you? Greg Godovitz's book is a good read if you are a fan. Traces his experiences starting with Fludd... Oh I hope they did a good job on remastering Klaatu and it's listenable.... Don't you wish someone like Steve ran a remastering school?
I see where there is a "new" Collector's Choice Music Klaatu release...among others, the db's, Jam, Danny Okeefe, Dean Martin, etc...are these CCM releases remastered, in the literal sense, and what do they use...they don't say anything, which leads one to believe, it's not too much to get excited about !
