Kristin Nelson (Rick's ex-wife) passes

According to Tracy's Facebook page she died last night.

 

How old was she?

 

According to Wikipedia she was 72.

 

Do you know how she died?

 

I'm assuming she's the daughter.

 

Cause of death wasn't given, but Tracy said it was sudden and unexpected. She'd had a number of health problems in the last few years.

 

That's terrible. See, I'm looking on Wikipedia right now and I don't see anything mentioning health issues.

 

There was a piece on the Radar Online site last year that went into some detail about her health struggles. Suffice it to say that details are hard to come by at this stage.

She was the daughter of former NFL player Tom Harmon (who won the Heisman Trophy in 1940 and later played for the L.A. Rams), the sister of actor Mark Harmon and actress Kelly Harmon (better known as The Tic Tac Girl in the '80s), the sister-in-law of actress Pam Dawber and time machine inventor John DeLorean, the mother of actress Tracy Nelson as well as Gunnar & Matthew Nelson (who had a couple rock hits in the '90s), and was once the daughter-in-law of producer Grant Tinker (who was once the head of NBC and founded MTM Productions with his wife Mary Tyler Moore), not to mention a dozen other Hollywood connections.

 

I think that Emmitt L Brown deserves the credit for this.

 

Yeah, Tracy is the daughter, she was in the Father Dowling Mysteries with Sheriff Tupper from Murder, She Wrote. RIP

love the story were she showed up on the set of ozzie and harriet with a new short haircut not having told anyone about it they had to scramble to find a wig for her to wear, and that ozzie had to try and cover up why tracie was born 6 months after they were married. unlike today things like that were frowned upon

 

A very sad loss. RIP
