It was a deliberately campy B-movie, and in the context of a campy B-movie, yes, Kurt Russell's character could get his ass kicked by three women, not to mention that he had been shot in the arm.

I like Escape From NY and The Thing. My favorite role with him, though, was as Herb Brooks in 'Miracle'. I loved that movie as a kid and the last time watching it I thought he did a great job portraying the prolific coach that led the US Olympic Hockey Team to one of the greatest victories in sports history.

Hope it's better than that steaming dogpile known as Django Unchained.

 

I didn't hate DU , but yes , it's miles better !

 

I've never seen the movie. Only seen the first one.

Underrated I don't know when thinking of actors I don't even think of him.

 

I loved him in Big Trouble in Little China, but, to me, he'll always be Dexter Riley.

 

I know Dexter was supposed to be a genius but how hard could it have been to outsmart the likes of Joe Flynn and Caesar Romero?!?

 

He's aging well.

 

Escape From New York, The Thing, and Breakdown are all great films.
