I have found that Threshold records sound really crappy. It's a shame that a band like the Moody Blues would create their own label and press crappy sounding records. I think 'On the Threshold of a Dream' was the last Decca release. I too have had bad luck with their original vinyl releases.

I would also agree. I acquired and relenquished copies of them as a result quite often. They never sounded good.

Beatles: Sgt Pepper (2017) - exquisite.
    Neil Young: Greatest Hits
    Neil Young: Decade
    - both Neil Young for the vinyl recording quality, I wasn`t dissapointed.
Wild Honey: Torres Blancas - A guy from Madrid is `Wid Honey`, I came across this whilst looking for the Beach Boys `Wild Honey` 2017 stereo LP. I was intrigued, played some tracks on You Tube, sundrenched `60`s West Coast, Beach Boys influenced music. I think The High Llamas` Sean O`Hagan has helped out, which has brought a modern (that is good) quality to the album. Great stuff!
The Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, Various: The Beach Boys And The Rise Of The Surf Movement - this is a 2LP set, I think `grey area` release which has a good song selection, especially the various artists songs. It also came with a CD with all the tracks (good for the car), oh, and it was cheap!
I don`t think I`ll be getting any more LPs, except for the `main artists` I like. I`ve run out of space. It`ll be the same for CDs in another 12 months I reckon. Maybe I`ll start to listen to the many LPs/CDs I`ve yet to play, same as a lot of you guys I think.
