Jack Reacher--enjoyed it. I would go for a sequel.
The Machine--low budget SF sort of like Terminator, but better than I thought it would be.

Lawless - I would rate the movie good and Tom Hardy very good in his role.

I believe they are planning three Reacher films with the second one already in production. I enjoyed the first one also.

Not a movie, but Amazon Prime has HBO stuff on it now, if you haven't seen the Wire or the Sopranos (HINT HINT HINT).
I have been catching up on the series Bored to Death, I only saw the first season, and I love the show

I was a bit disappointed by Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. It's a clever idea for a movie but it's too dry. It needed spots of humor IMO.

I completely agree. It was well made, but there was hardly any humor.

I just finished The Monuments Men. It was OK. I think I'm gonna like the extras more than the film. I'm watching them now....

The Boat That Rocked. In one of the deleted scenes (45+ minutes of them) they mention another pirate radio station who's motto was "Who Needs The Beatles When You Can Have Herman's Hermits"

My brother in law is a big Lee Child fan and was sceptical when this came out, but he liked it. I thought it was OK.
    Rosamund Pike was wooden
