I bought the 3 Deluxe editions of all 3 releases. I'll either do the same with the next releases or maybe get the Super Deluxe if B&N come through with a buy 2 get one free again.

Have now listened to all three for a second time. Sorry folks, I cannot find a single thing preventing my enjoyment. :shake:

After seeing the quality of the super sets, put me down for IV.

I know... after hearing these, IV and HOTH can't come soon enough, as those are my two favorite Zep albums. The wait until October may actually be painful.

I'm looking forward to everything except Coda. But, my favorite is Physical Graffiti, so I can't wait for that release!

  10. 'House of the Holy' should be an interesting one when it comes out. The Marino sounds positively anaemic compared to the Diament so it will be interesting to see what Davis does with it.

I'd like to know if IV has an alternative/rough mix of Down By The Seaside for the companion disc.

Agreed, when I read Oct, at first I thought it was a mistake LOL. I'm really looking forward to these. I can't get enough of my super set for III.

I know it isn't a physical format but these are already available on iTunes and they are almost indistinguishable from a CD in terms of sound quality.

Pleased to see the packaging for LZ III has a working circular insert, like the original vinyl sleeve. Also pleased to see they added CD Text, but not quite so pleased to find that each track title has "Led Zeppelin" tagged onto the end.

Also liking the somewhat clearer sound on these remasters.

Some poster that has a contact said the bonus disc of IV has the same tracklisting as the original album.

    No, probably just alternate mixes/takes.

I see. If that is the case then so be it. I'll buy it regardless. I wonder if Coda will get all the hand-me-downs. Imagine that one churning up the best companion cuts. What a hoot.

That may be possible on some tracks especially When The Levee Breaks.

There are so many alternate takes that I'll bet that's Page's plan for the rest of the releases. I'd love to hear live versions as well though.

The same poster with the contact also said HoTH has the same track listing, but they are in a different order than the original album.

Too long to have to wait for the next batch- imo

Must be the cost of the super deluxe boxes.

Give people a chance to spread the expense out.

Also the supply issues we are seeing. It's possible that they just couldn't do them all in one shot. Thats a lot of vinyl for starters.
