    I recall someone at DCC back around '94, telling me on the phone that they had the ATMP tapes in hand and it would be out that September.

    When happened?

    Mr Carrot (or do you prefer Mac?),

    My point was that John took a lot of control from Phil. He gave Phil free reign for the first time for the R 'n R sessions but as you say even then he went back and redid most of the songs. Phil was used to absolute control for much of his legacy.
