Why do people insist on dying so suddenly that I don't have time to properly eulogize them?

I'm not trying to make light of this - it's my honest, insane, uncomprehending reaction to the unexpected death of someone whom I've "known" seemingly all my life.

    RIP, Mr. Nimoy.

    R.I.P., Mr. Nimoy.

My parents met him at a dinner in Los Angeles in 1984 or thereabouts and said that he was very pleasant.

He was a versatile actor - more than just Spock:

Very sad news. Spock has been a hero of mine since the late 60s. Time to pull out the original series box. :(

I never followed Star Trek closely but I recognized Leonard Nimoy as a good actor and a great human being. R.I.P. and LLITAAP (Live long in the afterlife and prosper.)

His character was probably my first introduction to the concept of stoicism.

All of your reactions are highly illogical.

One of my Great Heroes of t.v.. Episodes of Star Trek were rare and an event on Dutch television. Of course Kirk was the captain, but the one I watched was the stoic and enigmatic man beside him. R.I.P.

It's not logical that he's gone. I'm going to play some Supertramp in his honor.

Kirk, Spock & McCoy, one of if not the greatest 3 way acts on TV and film. There was something very special there between those actors and now 2 of them are gone...

    "No..."

I'm crying. I'm sorry, but this man has been such a constant part of my life. I always cry every time I watch him pretend to die, anyway, so it's nothing new.
