And it’s my favourite by far.

I’ve got all of his stuff, so I might pass, depending on when the live stuff was recorded.

Should have hired the same bunch doing Elvis Costello's upcoming album.

Didn't he already have a tour planned prior to his firing?
That's what accelerated the firing decision, right?

....and you get a free copy of the Solo Anthology with a tour ticket purchase. Very cool.

If anybody knows the "pre-sale code" for Lindsey's tour, I'd really appreciate a PM (private message), as the tickets for near me go on pre-sale tomorrow morning!

The lack of material from Law & Order certainly is puzzling as noted earlier in the thread, plus the missed soundtrack songs, but overall it's cool that he's finally got a best of.

From everything that I have read, and this includes a statement from Lindsey's wife, Stevie did not want to work with Lindsey period. The tour was just an excuse to fire him.

I don't think there's a code (but don't quote me) - just probably a pre-sale link from his own page....

Check his new twitter account too

  16. Hot damn! And I see he's touring too, and playing a short walk from where I work here in DC (in October).

QUESTION: I see tickets go on sale on Friday, but there's some kind of Spotify pre-sale that starts tomorrow. Do you have to be a Spotify paying member (I presume) to get that pre-sale access/code? (I do have a free account, but not their premium service, I'm afraid.)

Or does anyone know how I can get into the pre-sale for the Oct 19th show here in DC? (Tix for the pre-sale seem to be available tomorrow at 10am.)

  17. I see I was asking the very same thing, as someone else just asked a moment before me.

I'd love to get tickets tomorrow in the pre-sale, if possible. Anyone know how?

  18. BTW, I'm sure glad he ditched that other band he was in, cuz I've been dying to see Lindsey solo for about 10 years now! :D

...but I keep having scheduling conflicts when he does come through town (solo), or else he's been up in Baltimore on a weeknight (and I'd have to rent a car to go from DC, and deal with traffic - uugh!). This time, though, he's playing like 10 blocks from where I work -- so I've got no excuses! And it's a Friday night too, which is perfect (no work the next morning)!

I think it’s all 2011 or later. The track list listed as on amazon gives date and venue for each track.

Tour overlap with the Mac tour is interesting - begging for comparisons and might get an extra bump of sales.

I wouldn't have minded his covers of George Harrison/Stones appearing on a Buckingham CD.

Who's in his band when his 2 guys going back 10-25 years are apparently doing(contracted with better pay) the Mac tour?

Can we confirm that this is indeed the original version of “sleeping Around The Corner”? Considering a lack of any other LBCM songs I’d say probably.

I saw him solo for the first time in 2011 when he remarkably played 10 minutes from my house in NJ. But this time through I’m not going to be able to make it due to him playing in NYC on a Tuesday during the school year, so not going to happen for me.

    Have a great time!

It doesn’t say but it seems like it would be easier for him to use the solo version as it’s not entangled with Christine.
