I see it now, 13 minutes later, if that helps. (But, at the same time, I don't see it in @J.A.W.'s post)

Very strange to say the least. Posting and viewing this link should not be location dependent ...

I bought this box almost ten years ago. How do you like the box so far?

I have his Bruckner 7th, which is an SACD as well and unfortunately picked up a duplicate by mistake ...

Not sure if I really meant to order Symphony 8 but decided not to ship it back across the Atlantic. :sigh:

This one is at the top of my list of favorite quartet recordings. The Schoenberg players produce a sound with a warmth and richness of tone that I haven't heard matched. And these are great pieces as well. I particularly like the Szymanowski works. In fact everything I've heard by this composer is superb!

I'll have to check out his 7th on Spotify. If it's as good as his 8th, that will be another purchase for me.

Rudolf Firkusny was an amazing pianist! He studied with Janacek from the age of five.

He plays well, but the sound is very close and dry.

What a great double. No wonder Keith Emerson adored his piano works.

I always seem to put this on when pottering about the the house. Don’t think I’ll ever tire of it.
