    Hi folks,

Fairly inexperienced poster, mainly come to read what others say but now need a bit of help.

I have a Dansette Capri record player which has just got a bit of a fault. First I was wondering if anyone knows much about these? I bought it relatively cheap about 2 years ago and it's done what I need it to do. But I've struggled to find anywhere near where I live that can replace it and being fairly old I don't want to keep spending money on something that might keep breaking.

So, I think I'm going to look for a new player. I'm a student at the minute and living space isn't in abundance so I don't want to be spending huge money and I am preferably looking for a record player with built in speakers, even though I know most don't have great sound.

Any recommendations/point in the right direction is much appreciated. Most importantly because I still keep buying records and can't play them.

    Regards, an Amateur
