Just watched the dvd documentary of the making of Terry Gilliam's "La Mancha".

Very interesting behind the scenes look at a disaster of a movie.

Everything happens to this crew....floods, rain, hail, wind, injuries and a couple of F-16's that fly by every day on set.

Sad but very good for film buffs.

    Rent it soon! :D

I agree completely. I would have loved to have seen this movie get completed. It really shows how precarious movie making is.

I enjoyed this also, although Terry Gilliam is damn near god-like in my eyes.

There have been rumblings about restarting this movie. Especially after Depp's recent box office performance.

I want to see this but I havent gotten around to it yet. On the other hand, I tried watching Brazil again (for about the 5th time) and I just couldnt get more than about 45 minutes into it.

  6. We showed Lost In La Mancha here in Oct. 2002, at the Calgary Internation Film Festival. It was great. There was a fair amount of buzz about the documentary. We had a near sell out crowd at the screening. The theatre holds about 375.

Rumour is, Terry's still trying to make this move. Break a leg!
