Maroon 5 to perform at Super Bowl halftime

They've released several, but I really lost track of them after their "Makes Me Wonder" single from their second album It Won't Be Soon Before Long.

They're quite a bit younger than me.

 

The context I am using lies within the reasoning that bands that have have been around where members are in their age group are "middle aged" or often downright dinosaurs. So on those lines, they are the next step behind by a small shade to the "Gerry and the Atrics" you refer to.

It would be interesting if he brought out his co-panelists from The Voice. Not because I'm any more of a fan of them than of Maroon 5, but just to do a mind ***** for NBC on a CBS televised event.

I must admit that this announcement came as a huge surprise as I had thought Maroon 5 had broken up years ago. Or at least they should've.

It's easy to crap on both Nickelback and Maroon 5 but for the NFL who are not producing the halftime show to break any new ground it seems like a safe and logical choice...I will be watching the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet instead...

 

How about a Jason Isbell/Drive-By Truckers reunion? Though not from Georgia, pretty close.

 

Like I needed another reason not to watch the Super Bowl.... Maybe Adam Levine will sing half the set and then retire. Hope springs eternal.

Drop the show biz, keep 1/2 time footballcentric. Show season highlights, bloopers, tributes and awards.
Yeah, that would work at the stadium with the enormo screens, digital clarity and sound.
