I'm interested in trying out one or more different mats for my RP8. Can any of you fellow RP8 recommend a mat, which you use yourself and like? (Should the thickness of a new mat be equal to the thickness of the stock Rega RP8 wool mat, if I want to avoid having to make adjustments to the RP8? ) Thanks!
I have tried many different mats on many Rega tables over the years and I always end up back using the felt mat for its sound quality, protection of records, and ease of operation. -Bill
