shame i'm not a big metallica fan anymore, they are really delivering on these deluxe sets

i hope the seattle gig is available as a digital download or something, would be a right shame to have it remain shackled to such an archaic object as the vinyl disc

I don't care. I haven't heard one of the re-masterings of any of the albums.

I'm in it for the DVDs, live shows, demos, rough mixes, and interviews.

Every box has had the vinyl discs also available as downloads. It should be a yes.

There is no remix of the album. I wish people would stop it with the bass "issues". It wasn't an issue until recently and it's just another way people are using to attack Metallica (like the Napster issue).

When I was cranking the cassette and CD in high school with my friends back in the 90s we certainly didn't notice any bass issues.

It reminds me of the complaints about the lack of bass on Van Halen 5150, and how badly it needs to be remastered. The original CD sounds great to my ears and on my system, I don't find the bass to be an issue. OU812 and 1984 on the other hand sound anemic on CD.

Recently? This was a known issue when it was first released. I bought it day one. Friends, other fans were quite vocal. It was a very well known issue.

I was at Red Rocks in Aug of '89 for the tour and wish they had used that show instead of the Seattle one, ya cant beat Red Rocks for seeing a show....still remember that for a good part of their show you could see a pretty intense thunderstorm hitting Denver, twas pretty cool :)
