Michael Brecker died eleven years ago, I miss him very much

I saw him live with Herbie Hancock shortly before his death. He was at his career peak in performance. It was a very sad loss.

 

11 years already? I can remember it very well, me and my dad played some Paul Simon, James Taylor and Carly Simon songs he played on our program for local radio.

 

He was truly one of the greatest to ever pick up a horn. Absolutely love him and miss him.

 

Wow, 11 years gone. I still often listen to his Tales of the Hudson

 

Yes I saw him live three times at least 3 times unbelievable saxophonist. Also met his brother Randy at one of the concerts. When I hear him play with Klaus Ogerman now makes me weep....
