Mingus 'Let My Children Hear Music' Vinyl Reissues?

Has anyone compared the different vinyl reissues of this album? There is one on Pure Pleasure, and then a 2LP 45RPM version by ORG. I've read about some rumble on the 1st side of the ORG version... Is this true? In the end, which is preferable? Thanks.

I have the ORG, which sounds excellent to my ears.

 

No rumble or unusual noise on the 1st side? This is what I heard from a few people.

 

It's there, I returned both mine to Elusive.

 

Ah ok. Have you heard the Pure Pleasure version?

 

Nothing I noticed, but I wasn’t doing a deep listen. I went on a Mingus binge a few months back but I haven’t revisited this one. At the time, I thought it sounded great, but I could have easily missed something like that.

@GreatTone I believe he was the person that first noticed this on the ORG 45.

 

Me no more, but I never had a bad surprise with Pure pleasure.

 

I've no way to compare it with any other release, but the Pure Pleasure is what it says it is.

 

Pure Pleasure releases are pretty good, I would feel confident buying theirs
