MiniDisc Recorders: Suggestions?

When I get some time (likely not until when I'm snowed in this winter!) I'm going to build the compensation circuit.

I'm also curious to hear the new dual-driver Shure 'phones, but they're even more expensive than the Etymotics!

You mean, the ones that look just like Etymotics? A couple of years ago, one of the main Etymotic engineers (Dan... I can't remember his last name) lent a couple of people the Shure canalphones, so that they would compare them to his Etymotics. That was back at www.head-fi.org. People thought the Etymotics were better than the Shures.

I'll check the compensation circuit later on. Sounds like a good idea.
