Having fun with this beautiful looking / sounding cartridge. Working the Jelco SA 750D arm a bit too, added the heavier counterweight to match the AT-LH18/OCC - 18g TechniHarsd adjustable headshell.
I have the Premium Mono BE (not the II version) which I use on a Jelco 250 with heavy counter weight. Did you have the original BE and then get the II version? I like Miyajima cartridges and would like to try out one of their stereo models when my Dynavector needs replacing. Scott
I was looking at the Takumi and Waza models. I am leaning towards the Takumi with its lower tracking force. Scott
Thanks Rolltide. I find that even when I feel as though I've tightened the left/right movement of the headshell, I still can adjust it with a gentle adjustment using my hand. Have you experienced this?
I have heard from a guy that is well respected in the audio industry especially for making tonearms (he is pretty famous but I wont give his name) that in fact from the Miyajimas he prefers the Premium mono over the Zero. He also prefers the Kansui over the Madake.
