VERY sorry to read about this. Terry has made me laugh harder than almost any of the Pythons have!

 

Is there a better take on a gossipy British working class woman than Terry's?

Prepare your tissues. It's sad because he is almost unable to speak, but heartwarming because he clearly understands what is going on and that he is being appreciated by everyone.

Parkinson's. How horribly ironic when you think of how manic and physical his comedy was, to lose control over his motor skills and be unable to switch characters and voices in the blink of an eye.....I always used to think of Monty Python as being demented, and to find out Terry Jones was diagnosed with dementia is some kind of awful cosmic "joke" as well.
Getting old can really suck, as I have discovered since I'm on the downhill side of 50.

I know it's sick humor, but just saying that 'frontal lobe' sentence in Terry's accent makes me giggle.

 

Sad to hear this. Terry Jones is my favorite Python. Loved it in Life of Brian when, as Brian's mother, he played a woman pretending to be a man! I wish the best for he and his family.

 

The Pythons managed to turn Graham Chapman's funeral into something funny, in spite of being devastated. I'm sure Terry Jones would approve your laughter
