A few more lines I use often:

"Have fun storming the castle!" - The Princess Bride
"I'm a happily married man, so I'm not allowed to have fun." - Bye, Bye Birdie
"Stop with the negative waves, man!" - Kelly's Heroes

  4. What's this? (Holding up hand)
    It's your hand buckaroo.

My daughter and I do this all the time.

    We have fun with it.

    Sue me.

    Also;

McGill: work for the railroad, Grampa?
Blind Seer: I work for no man.
Delmar O'Donnell: Got a name, do you?
Blind Seer: I have no name.
Ulysses Everett McGill: Well, that right there may be the reason you've had difficulty findin' gainful employment. You see, in the mart of competitive commerce...

Not a movie but I've been known to express "dag nab it Chester!" Out of frustration. It's from the TV Series Gunsmoke.

Whenever somebody dies (whether it someone famous or someone we know personally) either my best friend or I will say "He's dead, and nothing will bring him back"....For those who don't know, that is what Solozzo says after they shoot Don Corleone in "The Godfather"

    "50 dollar bill!
    50 dollar bill!
    50 dollar bill!"

    -The Goonies

No one ever gets this reference. Not one person ever. Idk how many times I just started shouting "50 dollar bill" in a little Asian kid accent with everyone looking at me like I'm crazy.

I know it's stupid, but I can't help quoting Jim Carrey from Ace Ventura on occasion:
    aaaaaaalllllllrrrighty then

Another Jim Carrey bit that my wife and I utilize - more frequently than we probably should - is the following:

    "What's the soup du jour?"
"That's the soup of the day."
"Mmm, that sounds good. I'll have that." - Dumb And Dumber

We paraphrase it, and use it in both food and non-food-related exchanges. Hilarity ensues:

"Honey, what's the boring dinner leftovers du jour?"
"That's the boring dinner leftovers of the day."
"Mmm, that sounds good. I'll have that.

"Heineken? **** that ****! Pabst Blue Ribbon!" - Blue Velvet (usually said at uniquely inappropriate times at parties I want to leave anyway)
"Dyin' ain't much of a livin' boy" - Outlaw Josey Wales (always get some curious reactions)
"Clear as an azure sky of deepest summer" - A Clockwork Orange (must be delivered in a British accent)
"Someday this war's gonna end" - Apocalypse Now (biting lower lip for full effect)

I probably quote Mean Girls and Baby Jane too often for my own good.

I'd have gotten it. The Goonies is one of my favorite movies and one I can watch over and over.

It was on last night, but it was broadcast on some pay channel. Kinda odd. I'd be oisswd if I paid for a channel and got all old movies (unless that's what the channels genre was)

  22. Andy Smith

Andy Smith .....Like a good pinch of snuff......

As an in-joke, in the 80s my mate and I used to use the dorky line "I hold up buses!" when giving girls some ol' chat. If they'd actually seen 'Restless Natives', we'd even buy them a drink....

I've seen hundreds, possibly more than a thousand, films with my wife, so we have a lot of shared lines. The movie Top Secret is a particular favorite:

Things change, people change, hairstyles change, interest rates fluctuate.
