Sort of a bizarre change of scenery when I saw it in the theater, but it's grown on me.

I just saw The Jerk again yesterday. Part of it counts.

I'm trying to recall a thriller, British I think, that had it's conclusion at a closed down Amusement park maybe like Brighton or Blackpool.

    Another genre film- Funhouse, 1981

Brighton Rock (1948) or Mona Lisa (1986), maybe?

The ending of The Lady from Shanghai (1947) is another one.

I went in to mention this exact one with "exciting thriller!" though - one man's ceiling is another man's floor :D

So I'll go with The Jerk also - why not? "Ahhh... a profit scheme!"

And if Wally World counts, then yeah - National Lampoon's "They Don't Close Florida.." Vacation

Not really “centered around”, but there is the famous Ferris wheel scene in The Third Man (1949).

Does Problem Child 2 count? The Crazy Dance scene was total nausea fuel right there.

Two of my semi-recent favorites, and both are excellent.

Not a movie, but you might check out the HBO series Carnivàle.

40 Pounds of Trouble, a Tony Curtis film with a chase scene filmed in Disneyland. The 1962 Disneyland! In fact, the only non-Disney studio allowed to film there.

Imagine, a simple film about people who just worked there, rather than just re-hashing the, "oooooh, circuses and carnivals and kids' parks are soooo creeepyyy" trope...what an innovation in itself.
Also, the director got an actual performance out of Kristen Stewart, a revelation in and of itself at that point in her career track...
