That's it, yeah. What was the point of only putting the second half of the film on video?

The "Saw" series has one sort-of entry that gets overlooked - and I say sort-of, because it's a standalone movie, but they connected it to "Saw" in a weird, bizarre, alternate-universe way.

I mean the horror movie "Dead Silence", about killer puppets. I can't remember all the details, but I remember seeing it years back and noticing a number of connections to the "Saw" movies, most notably Jigsaw's puppet Billy being seen among the rest of Mary Shaw's creations (and in fact, a puppet named Billy is the centerpoint of the movie), and Donnie Wahlberg obviously playing an expy of his "Saw" character.

I don't know just how forgotten it is, but a lot of people I know would like to forget Hannibal (sequel to The Silence of The Lambs).

Shock Treatment is not a sequel to Rocky Horror. Stop spreading rumors.

I was surprised to learn recently that Scanners had four sequels: Scanners II, Scanners III, Scanner Cop, Scanners: The Showdown aka Scanner Cop 2.

Stepfather 2: Make Room for Daddy
Munchie - This movie claims it is a sequel to "Munchies". It has nothing to do with "Munchies".
    Return to Oz.
    Fright Night 2.

    Meatballs 3! Poor Sally Kellerman.

  13. The sequel is a better movie than the original.

Summer of 42 was rated R so kids couldn't see it Class of 44 had a more kids' friendly rating. Lots more people saw the sequel than the original where I live.

I'll take Ii and III over the completely unnecessary and lame Part IV TV movie any day.

Errol Flynn's Sean starred in "Son of Captain Blood", supposedly a sequel to his father's breakthrough movie. It's pretty forgettable.

But it did result in a great line from Grampa Simpson:
"This scam is from The Sting II, so nobody knows about it!"

Yeah, I like most everything Lemmon and Matthau did together but that one and Out to Sea are the exceptions.
