    Hey there.

    Another "list" posting.

I have a little collection of movies that I put on whenever I feel like crap, or need a pick me up, or need an old friend. I never get sick of them.

I wouldn't call them the BEST movies of all time. No way. I mean look at the list.... They're just favourites. If my house burned down tomorrow, these would be the first ones I replace.

I could probably write down the first time I saw them, where, under what circumstances, and why they became repeat viewers.

Grumpy old men (had this on last night. Love the relationship these guys have!)
Dirty rotten scoundrels (Steve Martin! Enuff Said)
Trading places (Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd during their peak period)
Back to the future (I always wanted to be Alex P Keaton - MJF was always like a pal to me when I was in my early teens...)
Beverly hills cop (great songs Eddie doing his thing, in his peak years)
    Blues brothers (untouchable. great songs...!)
American Vacation (Chevy Chase is funny, don't care if he is apparently an asshat in real life, I like the guy and his schtick)
European vacation (see above - the first movie I saw with my mates and without my parents)
Waynes world (saw this in a hotel room in Rockhampton QLD, after driving for two days to get there, to get away from being overloaded and suffocated at my job. Ate a pizza for dinner cross legged on the bed and watched this. It took all my stress away.)
    Zoolander (Just funny.)
Something about Mary (everything about this is good)
Polica Academy 1 ( great ensemble cast. RIP Tackleberry)

Any of you have a list?

Manhunter! Don't tell me 'bout no 'Red Dragon'!

Also, it's now become my tradition to watch 'Enter the Dragon' on Christmas Day. I think it's a good Christmas movie.

    Uncle Buck
    WHo's Harry Crumb?
Under Seige (I know, I know but I love that film. It's so bad)
    Goodfellows
    Beveryly Hills Cop I
    48 Hours
    Meatballs(!!)
    Weird Science

The list can go on really

I think there are several movies I could watch over and over again and not get sick of (among my favorites, some are listed above, including "Raiders," "Blade Runner," and "The Wild Bunch"), but the only one I know I can watch over and over again without getting sick of -- because I've done it in the past couple years -- is "Superbad."

    Blade Runner
Koyaanisqatsi - but not without more of a break between viewings

For me, I've decided that movies I would watch repeatedly are the only ones I want to own.
