They're just not recording/touring. They're still going to release stuff in the future.

    Be kind. :shake:

Actually the break will do them some good. I like their sound, but thought that they started to run out of ideas on the last album. If they have the cash to take the time off, more power to them.

I liked the first album, but even then there was rather a "sameness" to many tracks. By the second album folks were asking: "Don't all Mumford & Sons songs sound the same?"

So, like the first album somewhat, not so hot on it now, and don't care to hear any more at this point. Perhaps a break will allow them to come back with some fresh ideas and energy.

Coldplay is MUCH better than Mumford & Sons. At least their songs sound different from one another.

Other than Bela Fleck, Steve Martin and Roy Clark...Mum & Sons were the only artists listened to by Soccer moms.

    What a bunch of wussies.
If they existed forty some odd years ago when labels demanded a LP (or two) each year and they pulled a "we just know we're going to take a considerable amount of time off and just go back to hanging out and having no commitments or pressure or anything like that were sick of being pop stars" type stunt after their second LP. The record label and management would send lawyers after them to eat 'em alive, they would be blackballed and history.

    Hipster wussies.
