My local dealer Audio Alternative gave me a call and said that he just got a Lyra Etna in if I'm interested. It's become such a hit that they are in very short supply and he has been waiting forever to get one.
I had a Skala on my Classic 4 but it never hit me like the Titan i, which I have setup one my Avid. I crossed my fingers and said hold it, i'm on my way.

Although I just got done setting it up, I can tell that it's got the ultra detail of the Titan i and more. Apparently there is a significant lowering of the noise floor. Time to get some hours on it!

Wow an Etna... and a Titan i on your Avid... me and my Avid are just a bit envious.

    Happiest Listening!

Us poor white trash just use a Delos.

I am envious beyond belief. Congratulations on your purchase, TommyTunes. :righton:

I now have 20 hours on it and can testify that this is one of the most amazing cartridges that i've own. As detailed as the Titan but with a smoother top and supreme imaging. A friend after hearing it ordered one but was told the wait is between 6-12 months.
