Except $90 usually equates to £90 in the UK :yikes:

Man, the last three months of 2015 are shaping up to be VERY expensive.

I knew Billy and Ralph played on a couple tracks from the "This Note's For You" album but I did not know they were on the Blue Note's tour? I thought it was Rick and Chad exclusively on tour?

I read in "Shakey" that Ralph could not get the right rhythm down during the sessions for the style of the album.

The 1987 Bluenotes shows were with Ralph & Billy.

They played early dates. I think Billy went first, then Ralph.

Downloaded Crime in the City from iTunes, been looking forward to a Blue Note show since the performance series was rolled out.
Be interested to read other people observations but Neil guitar seems a bit low in the mix, I expected old black to to take my head off on this release.

Excellent! Finally, after years of listening to Kind of Blue. The live versions of these songs are killer.

Well then it will certainly be "a treasure" the day I dig it out and finally decide to play it! ;)

Is the version of "Ain't It The Truth"on this upcoming Archives release the same one that's on Lucky 13? Likewise "This Note's For You", which is also on Lucky 13?

Also, just to be clear, "Fool For Your Love" is indeed a song on Neil's Road Rock Vol. 1 (hey, where's Vol. 2?), but it won't be the same version. Road Rock was recorded in 2000.

PS: This is a must buy for me. The live tracks on Lucky 13 whetted my appetite for this a looooong time ago.

Yes, they are all different versions. But the OP blurb (source unknown) said "features seven unreleased songs", which is not true. Make that 3 unreleased songs (“Bad News”, “Crime of the Heart,” “Doghouse"), as a version of "Soul of a Woman" is on A Treasure. Or 2,5, as Pegi Young has recorded "Doghouse" :).
