There's already a thread started here... The problem is if you spell her name correctly -- as Björk instead of Bjork -- it doesn't come up in search without the ö!

Björk just announced a new album!!!

Thanks! I was just waiting for someone to tell me that. Lol. You are right - I couldn't find the thread because I haven't got the requisite keyboard to be able to 'spell' her name! Oh well, thanks anyway...........

Here's another artist announcing an announcement about a single... just give the album details already and be done with it!

How long before the single is "leaked" ahead of its official release?

Quite disappointed with the song. It doesn't really go anywhere.

Probably my least liked album lead single by her.

Yes, I have to admit the single doesn't grab my attention as most of her other stuff did. Maybe it's a grower though?

It seems she tried to make a new Scatterheart, but she failed

Nowhere near as good. The new song is empty. It has nothing

As much as I want to give her credit for following her own muse, she's really disappeared up her own backside by this point. Too much meandering self indulgence for its own sake.

I seem to have lost connection with Björk after Medúlla, which I don't love, but recognize as a valid daring experiment with great moments anyway. From then on, I haven't found any of her works interesting enough.

blah the new song is terrible even as background music.

It's... okay. A bit too long and repetitive. Kind of an odd lead single. I assume this will be the opening track. Hopefully the rest will be better.

I've always been nonplussed by her computer generated visuals. It made me ignore her career everything after Vespertine. Even when the visuals are interesting, as this one is, it's still sort of boring. I got back into her with Vulnicura. This sounds a lot like that. I like it. She's still in her experimental "jazz" phase. (Maybe she always has been?)

I’m horrified by the cover yet can’t stop looking at it. What a (beautiful?) mess.
