"A 1945 popular song by Buddy Kaye and Ted Mossman, based on Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. Frank Sinatra's version is the best-known recording of the song."

Perhaps a sequel to Self Portrait?

My first impression is that Dylan's voice sounds less damaged somehow!

Interesting. I thought the Xmas album was almost completely unlistenable due to his voice. (Same with Tempest.)

But on first hearing, Full Moon was actually better than I expected. Could ol' Bob have finally found a decent ear, nose & throat specialist?

I don't understand the Self Portrait critics, it's such a great album!

Someone played me several of the tracks from what is supposed to be an album, they do sound like covers.

I agree. His voice sounds a bit less damaged, as compared to "Tempest" and the Christmas record. But I do dread those two words - "covers album" - if that is indeed what this turns out to be.

Not 100% thrilled with this particular track but I look forward to the album even if it is all covers. Bob is 73 and he just gave us an album of new songs 18 months ago -- I don't think he's got a lot more songs in the tank no matter what. I'll take an album of covers that Bob chose and that are significant to him, rather than nothing, which is what I was expecting.

It's not like he has to WRITE new songs .. he could just steal some more and put his name on them. :)

I like the retro design but the photo they used looks almost identical to the one for Tell Tale Signs.

I've always considered that all of his albums since Love and Theft are cover albums in a way : the melodies are never new, and the lyrics are not always original either.

He gives a great vocal performance on that song though : he sounds more pleasant than he has in a long time.

Great news. Dylan should also release some of the many covers he recorded in the 90's around the time that he recorded "Return To Me"
