New Conway Twitty box set planned

On the Facebbook page maintained by his two daughters, Kathy and Joni, a fan asked about Bear Family doing anything with Conway. Joni replied that while Bear isn't, UMG, which now owns his MCA catalog, was prepping a set for release in 2018.

She didn't specify whether this would be a complete MCA albums collection or another hits package. The former makes a lot more sense since there has already been a good 4 disc collection of hits. One of the moderators said the family is working on multiple projects.

This would be potentially great news since Conway was meticulous in his song selection and strove to be more than just a singles artist. Conway had 9 albums on Warner/Electra but the bulk of country output was on Decca/MCA.
