Met Hirsch Gardner, who by the way is now a manager at a Guitar Center somewhere in Boston, and John Fannon back in May at this place in Somerville called Johnny D's which ended up closing down a month later. They put on a great acoustic set. I have their first album on LP.

Got the above from the band's wesbsite. Single disc, great sound and performance. Noty sure what the Japanese bonus track will be because I saw that there are a few songs from the night not on the disc.

Is it in a jewel case or card sleeve?

Cool as I don't like those card sleeves as the discs always get scratched up. Thanks.

Can you tell me if the CD you bought has all the tracks below? This is the track list that is currently on Amazon and a few songs are not on the bands website which has what I thought was the whole album to sample. I don't see 'Livin' in the 80's' or P.U.N.K. on the bands website.

    Many Thanks

I would think that Amazon has the incorrect track list. I can't see how the CD from Amazon would have more tracks then what you bought from the bands website. Also the Japan release has the same track list as your copy although they list the studio track as a Japan only bonus track which is not correct. Btw did you ever pick up the 'Greatest Hits Live' CD that's on the bands website? It still available from the bands website but I would be interested in knowing how it sounds since it's from 1980 and the sound quality may not be that great.

    Thanks again,

    Scott

I think I was the only person in the UK to even hear their first album. And I liked it! Use to play hello hello hello as my theme as a Rock DJ back in the day.

I picked it up for 50p in one of those marvelous sales that Woolworths used to have!! Think I got the first Franke & The Knockouts the same day. A fine £1 well spent!!!
